Privacy Policy
Last updated 4 Oct 2026
This policy explains what personal data philseaton.co.uk collects, why, and what you can do about it.
Who I am
Phil Seaton is a trading name of LS Trader Limited, which runs this site and is responsible for your data (the “controller”).
LS Trader Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 06967924
VAT number: GB 387 3497 42
Registered office: 6b Parkway, Porters Wood, St Albans, Hertfordshire, AL3 6PA, United Kingdom
Email: [email protected]
You can contact me about anything in this policy by email or through the contact form.
What I collect
Only what you send me through the contact form: your name, email address, website (optional), monthly ad spend (optional) and your message. If we go on to exchange emails or work together, I'll also hold what you send me in that correspondence.
When you visit, the companies that deliver the site receive your IP address and browser details, as every website does, to serve the page and protect it from abuse. The site uses no analytics or advertising trackers. The calculators run entirely in your browser and nothing you type into them is sent anywhere.
How I use it, and the legal basis
I use your details only to read and reply to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to manage that work. I don't add you to a mailing list, sell your details or share them for marketing. No decisions about you are made automatically.
The legal basis is my legitimate interest in replying to enquiries you choose to send, and, where you ask about working together, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Technical data is used on the basis of my legitimate interest in running a secure website.
Who processes it
The contact form is handled on this website's own server, which emails your enquiry to my mailbox. Nothing you send is stored on the website itself. Namecheap hosts the website and my mailbox on a server in the UK. Cloudflare delivers the website and protects it from abuse. The typefaces are served from this site itself, so no font provider receives your details.
Cloudflare, and Namecheap's email filtering, may process data outside the UK, including in the United States, under their own data protection terms.
How long I keep it
If an enquiry doesn't lead to work, I delete it within 12 months of our last contact. If we work together, I keep our correspondence and records for six years after the work ends, because tax and legal rules require it, and then delete them. You can ask me to delete your enquiry sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how I use it, ask me to limit its use, or ask for a copy in a format you can take elsewhere. To make a request, use the contact form. I'll reply within one month.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, please tell me first through the contact form. I'll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it, and tell you what I found and what I've done about it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
